Belo Horizonte (Serra do Cipo Base)
Brazil's third largest city is the practical base for Serra do Cipo. Rent a car at the airport and drive north through Lagoa Santa (cave art worth a stop). Most climbers stay at pousadas near the park rather than BH proper.
